Why can't I find any prices on this website?

The price per book depends on a number of factors from who the publisher is to which edition of a title you wish to purchase to how many copies of the one book you need us to bundle for you. We offer bulk discounts from the publisher's list price and the amount of the discount varies based on the quantity of each one book you purchase. To find the price, please use our Request a Quote form to enter the title of the one book you are interested in reading together along with the quantity needed and the name and location of your school, and we will respond with a quote by the next business day.

How long does it take to receive books from One Book Bundles?

Our books ship directly from the publishers' warehouses, so the shipping time is different for each title. In most cases you can expect to receive your one book bundle within 2 weeks—sometimes as soon as 4 business days from when an order is finalized. If you have a large order that requires a special printing, please factor in an additional 3 months of lead time for production.

Can I buy a book that I do not see on your website?

In most cases the answer is, "YES!" For website optimization, we only display an array of some of the recently requested titles from schools, but we are able to offer many more titles than what you see. Our books are shipped directly from publishers' warehouses, so we are able to get you nearly any book that is still in print.

Do you accept purchase orders?

Yes, we do accept purchase orders! As part of our ordering process, we will not put your books in the shipping queue until we receive either an official purchase order or payment in full.

Is there a limit to the number of books I can order?

We have an order minimum of 25 copies of one book and a total price minimum of $100 per order to one school. There is technically no maximum, but we are limited by current supply levels. Some books are printed on a 50,000 copy print run and others are only printed at 5,000 at a time. Because we deal with bulk orders, there can be times when you need more copies than the publisher has in their warehouse. In those cases, you would have to wait for the reprint to be in stock or work with us to request a special printing for your order. If your order is greater than the typical print run for the title you want, we would need to request a special printing which typically takes around three months.

Please note that the more popular a title is, the more of a chance there is for it to sell out. Even a title that gets printed 50,000 at a time can quickly sell out if more than one district is interested in ordering copies of it for each school they serve. Peak ordering times are September - October and then again from January - February. During those months there is more competition with many schools wanting some of the more popular titles.

Can I return the books?

Unfortunately, as a discount wholesaler we cannot accept returns. The only exceptions to this are if you received the wrong item, the books were mistakenly misprinted or damaged, or there was an error in quantity. If one of these exceptions applies, please reach out to us, and we will make it right.

Why would anyone want to buy a bundle of multiple copies of one book?

Most often, our customers are one school or one district looking to launch a community-wide one book reading event. We specialize in making it affordable for schools to provide one book for each family to participate. We also have schools reach out to us to buy multiple copies of one book for a grade-level read, a schoolwide teacher read-aloud, a student book club, or one district ordering bulk copies of one book to distribute to each of its schools to add to their library's shelves. It may not make sense for everyone, but we've found that the One Book Bundle model makes perfect sense for one school or one district.

Do you ship to schools outside of the United States?

We sell only books that are created for sale within the United States. Due to publishing laws, we cannot sell to entities overseas. In some cases, we can sell books to schools on U.S. military bases via their U.S. based APO; however, we are not able to offer free shipping on these orders nor are we able to ensure our typical 1-2 week delivery window. Once the military has the parcel, we no longer have any control of the timeline for delivery.

I need a few Spanish copies of a title. Do I still need to buy 25?

Yes. Our bulk sales arrangement requires that we sell a minimum of 25 copies of one book to one school (or one district). The Spanish version is considered a different book than the English, and each one book would have to meet the 25 copy threshold. In some cases, the rights holder to the Spanish book is from a different publisher than the English book. In those cases, the Spanish book order would not only have to meet the 25 book minimum but also the $100 minimum.

Do you offer translations other than Spanish?

We try to offer any book made available to the U.S. market by the major publishing houses. If they offer another translation for sale in this market, we can offer it to your school. Unfortunately, there are not many options as most translations are only available for sale to foreign markets due to publishing laws or arrangements with the rights holders.

My entire school district wants to read one book together. Can you ship them to each school?

Since we offer free shipping, we prefer to ship to one school building; however, if each school in your district needs 25 or more copies of one book, then we can ship to more than one school location for the same one district order.

Do you offer educational resources to accompany the books?

We are only a book vendor; however, we often receive digital materials created by publishers that we can share with schools that order books from us. Also, many schools share their own created resources with us so that we can pass them along to future schools who want to do a one book read with the same title. If you would like to share resources that you have created as a way to pay it forward, please send them to info@onebookbundles.com. We promise to acknowledge you as the creator and copyright holder of said materials and will always make them available to schools free of charge. Please only send resources that you have created and not copyrighted materials that you may have acquired from other sources.

I want to order from you, but One Book Bundles is not a registered vendor in my district. What can I do?

Each school district has a different policy in place for onboarding new vendors. Just send an email to info@onebookbundles.com and we'll reach out to the powers that be in your area to work on becoming an officially approved vendor. In most cases it's just a formality that can be resolved in a day or two.
